Chapter 5: False Faces

I am just going to go through these exercises in order so I do not forget what I have done

1) Spiders are not cute

2) Spiders are scary, creepy, have eight legs, and large eyes

3) Spiders being scary and creepy is a personal assumption. Not all animals have four legs and the ones that don’t can still be cute. Having large eyes is typical for for animals since it is needed for survival.

4) Spiders are friends that hide in corners because they are shy. Spiders Only have four legs, the rest are not real. Spider eyes in a size comparison to other animals are much smaller.

5) Spiders are made the way they are so that they can survive, just like any other animal alive. The way they act is also part of that. If you think of a spider as part of an anime, then the large eye size can be considered cute.

6) Spiders aren’t actually scary because they aren’t trying to hurt you. They are helping us out by being in corners and catching various insects that would be annoying. Butterflies also have eight legs and many people adore them. Think of the the spider as part of an anime and then everything about it seems more normal.

The exercise was alright, but I think I lost the point of it or did it a little differently than I was suppose to. This exercise allowed me to consider various options and points of views that were previously unknown to me. This in turn however makes it difficult when trying to prove a point about what you believe to be true I find.
